Kimberly A. Garrison

Kimberly A. Garrison is an Associate at Grant & Lyons, who joined the firm in 2013. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts (2013) and New York (2014), and has a profound interest in environmental, land use, and real estate law.

Growing up in the Mid-Hudson Valley, Ms. Garrison has long taken an interest in the environment. While at school, she was involved in several academic environmental organizations. Upon attending law school, Ms. Garrison interned with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Springfield, Massachusetts, and the not-for-profit watchdog group, Riverkeeper, Inc., where she predominantly worked on turbidity issues with the Lower Esopus Creek in Ulster County, and fracking-related issues in New York State. Ms. Garrison also competed in the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, hosted by Pace Law School and participated in the Real Estate Transaction Practicum, where she interned at both a title insurnace company and an attorney specializing in real estate transactions.

Ms. Garrison graduated cum laude from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. She also holds a bachelor of arts in mathematics (summa cum laude) from Niagara University.
